Grave marker near Outback Gallery, Sanaigmore, Islay, Scotland374 viewsStone is inscribed: Here he lies where he longed to be, home is the shepherd home from the hill; David Peter Pearce.
The inscription is a paraphrase of RLS "Requiem". This is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. If you ever visit Islay, the Outback Gallery is worth the drive.

Round Church, Bowmore, Islay, Scotland420 viewsTaken from one of the side streets. During the 2010 Feis Ile trip I was able to take a shot, that I liked, from near the water and looking back up the hill toward the church.

The Wee Piper and the Wee Peat Monster (v0)436 viewsDr Entropy (Tim) gave to me a wee bottle of Ardbeg Supernova to try. I thought it might make an interesting picture with a glass, and the wee piper. Do you agree? There was no flash used for this shot, hence a bit of yellow due to improper 'white balance'.
